This weekend is the gigantic annual Home and Garden Show in Cleveland, Ohio. Over 50,000 visit the show each year. Last week, one of the key speakers at the event, the talented and very successful DesAnn Collins of Designs by DesAnn contacted me. One of the decorating segments she is covering on the main stage is, "I Never Would Have Thought of That Decorating Ideas". She asked if she could feature these vintage button frames...
You may remember them from my post about the crafting soiree I hosted at Christmas time.
If not, here is a quick re-cap, I hosted a gathering (a cocktail and craft soiree) to create 50 vintage button frames for the shelter makeover at the Detroit Rescue Mission Genesis House by Enchanted Makeovers.
25 beautiful, talented crafters joined me in making these frames to be used in the bedrooms of the women and children living at the shelter.
The frames were used to showcase a collection of vintage potholders and aprons. To see before and after photos from the shelter makeover reveal, please visit the Enchanted Makeovers website.
Thank you, DesAnn for featuring this project at the Home And Garden Show. Good Luck to you this weekend, speaking in front of 50,000 people, you are so brave!
