Dining Room and Foyer~Two Spaces One Design

I've been busy in the design studio this week (and last) delivering brand new design plans.  A few spots have opened up if you are interested in spiffing up a room in your home before the holidays.  Click here for more information or to make your reservation.  Today's featured design plan gives Katie's dining room and foyer a warm, inviting, new look just in time for Turkey Day.

By designing multiple spaces at the same time, we were able to give each room it's own personality while making sure the new looks were cohesive.  Another plus was that Katie was able to take advantage of our multi-room discount.

The Dining Room...

…we kept the design simple, but striking.

A soft light neutral bordered area rug highlights the new dining table, giving it center stage.

Large scale art and a unique mirror fill the wall space and give the room color and personality.

We gave her a new table setting with soft gray-blue dishes and a collection of candlesticks.

Last but not least, this amazing chandelier punctuates Katie's new dining room.
By placing this chandelier on a dimmer switch, she will be able to control the mood.

In the Foyer…

...the rug makes a statement with it's gorgeous pattern.  A collection of framed mirrors is a fun alternative to using one large piece.  A soft gray-blue, oversized lamp looks beautiful on a rich, wood toned foyer table.  Preserved, potted boxwoods round out the welcoming feeling this space portrays.

Here are both spaces together…

We also had the opportunity to design the family room in this home.  By designing multiple spaces at one time, we were able to create a unique design for each space while allowing the home as a whole to flow.

Back to the studio.  More new designs to come this week.
