Today's featured design project is a small one, but happens to be one of the most important areas of the home. It's a foyer we designed as an addition to an online design plan we did a few months ago for Gary and Chris.
You may remember the three room design plan we designed for them, it was titled "Moody Blue and Steely Gray Design Plan". It addressed their kitchen, dining room and family room. If you missed it, here is a quick peek at the design board…
(For more details on this plan including sources, please click here).
After we delivered their design plan, Gary and Chris got busy right away implementing the design. They were so happy with the results that they came back to us for an addition design plan that carries their new look into their foyer.
Here is what we came up with:
Gary and Chris already had a fabulous silver glass top console table and an octagon shaped mirror. We incorporated them into the design and gave them a whole new look by styling the top of the console table with dramatic accessories.
Going up the stairs, we suggested adding a collection of contemporary silver sconces. This will add a little sparkle to the area as well as create soft mood lighting.
The foyer is such an important area of the home. With carefully chosen accessories, a dramatic rug and beautiful art, Gary and Chris's foyer will make a stunning first impression of their home for their guests.
These are just a few of the elements in Gary and Chris's new foyer. As with all our design plans, this one came with suggestions for everything needed to create a beautiful, complete and professional design in the space. We provided them with links to everything in their design plan along with specific paint color suggestions.
