Before and After - A Beach Inspired Dining Room EDesign Comes to Life

We currently have openings for new Online Design Projects, Click here to make your reservation!
I received a fun email over the weekend from a client with some exciting "before and after" pics from an EDesign project I did for her a while back. She emailed me to let me know that they recently sold the house and everyone who viewed it, loved it! What I thought was really neat about this, was that I created her EDesign project for her back in July of 2013, and the rooms we created still look fresh and relevant. Even after six years.

I worked on three rooms in this beautiful home. Today, I'd like to share the dining room...

Here is a look at the room before...

(Before)

As you can see, there was not a lot in the space when we started, with the exception of a family heirloom hutch that we kept in the design. The items we selected for this design complemented the beautiful piece. My client had a love for coastal inspired spaces, so we brought some beach-side flavor to her dining space in a sophisticated and chic way. Take a look at the design board page from her EDesign Plan...

And, here is the floorplan sketch that shows how all of the elements in her design fit in the space...

Here is what the room looks like now, after the design plan was implemented.
This is an image from the recent MLS listing...

(After)

In addition to the beautiful family heirloom hutch, my favorite element in the design is the large scale art series that we placed on the long wall. It really brought personality to the space and made a dramatic first impression when entering through the foyer. More to come on this multiroom design project this later this week.

I'm looking forward to working with this client again in her new home!

Thanks for stopping by and letting me share this recent project with you. To check out more of my latest designs, please visit my Pinterest page.
