This year, I put together a very simple, but festive Halloween front porch display using some adorable items I found on Amazon. I wanted my porch to look welcoming and reflect the Halloween season, while still offering style and elegance. Now, Halloween and elegance usually are not found in the same sentence, but I think I made it happen. I also decided to invest in items I can use year after year instead of going crazy buying too many real pumpkins (don't worry, I still bought a bunch, just not as many as in the past).
I started with this super chic, gray and black, round, leopard print, outdoor rug that is tough enough to keep out on the porch all season regardless of the weather.
For a little spookiness, I added these adorable black crows to the top of the door. They come with wires attached to their feet that I used to position them and then fasten them using a staple gun.
To finish off the look, I selected a bright orange 22" berry wreath. There are many berry wreaths available on Amazon, I selected one of the higher-end options. I want to get many years out of this display. This wreath was not a disappointing purchase, it is gorgeous and comes in a nice sturdy box to store it in when not in use. What I really love about it is that the twigs are easily positionable making it simple to shape the wreath upon hanging.
I'm really happy with the way the porch turned out. I think it's a win for both me and the kids and the best part of this decor project was the ease and speed of ordering through Amazon.
