I'm really looking forward to my live presentation at the Home and Garden Show next week (Novi Michigan, October 12th at 11am and 1pm). I'm going to demonstrate how to create a gorgeous tablescape that can get through four holidays with just a few tweaks. I'm starting with a Halloween theme and transitioning through Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.
Along the way, I'll be sharing some of my TOP SECRET table setting hacks using some unexpected items. You'll have to come to the presentation to see that, but what I can share today are the items I'm thinking of ordering from Amazon to start my project. I've provided links below in the event you would like to create the same holiday looks in your home this year!
For my Halloween tablescape, I'm going for a Simple, Elegantly-Spooky look that the kids will love... but, a look that still appeals to my inner designer. I started by selecting a black and white set of dishes with featuring a bold, fun pattern. I have a set of mercury glass candlesticks that I've collected over the years and I'll be filling them with pumpkin orange candles. Hemstitch napkins are my favorite and I landed a beautiful pumpkin orange set. Little black feathered crows will be spookifying the look. My captains chairs will each get a cute pillow and a chic leopard throw for cozy factor.
If you would like to meet me at The Home and Garden Show to see how I change this look up for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years with just a few tweaks, I'd love to see you there! And, if you're planning on playing along and creating this look in your own home, Please send me pics! I would love to see!
