Casual Modern Family Room - Handsome Leather and a Dark Fireplace Wall

Recently, I had the privilege of creating a "Whole House Design Plan" for a client looking to give his traditional home a fresh, new, updated look. I created design for his Kitchen, Family Room, Dining Room and Home Office. All of the spaces are adjacent to one another, so designing them at the same time allowed me to create a cohesive look. My client and his children have an affection for music and love to spend time together at home, just hanging out. I gave him a family friendly, warm, comfortable design that has a bit of a modern edge. I'll start the design tour today in the Family Room. The most dramatic change in this space will be the fireplace wall makeover that I suggested. Along with some warm woods and textural leather, this space will be the most handsome room around...
