Mid Century Modern Lakehouse Family Room

Today, I'm excited to share a family room I designed for a clients new Mid Century Modern Lakehouse. My client loves to entertain family and friends. This is the room they gather in on weekends and holidays. We incorporated lots of storage for the grandkids toys, and kept the space comfortable and practical. Yet, it has a striking stylish look that complements the homes stunning mid century modern architecture. I brought in a lot of natural texture to play off the views of the lake just outside the windows. I was super excited to incorporate my clients own artwork as a major focal point in the space. Check out that amazing blue and green floral painting, and that gorgeous fruit and floral!! Both of these large scale pieces introduce pops of color that makes this overall neutral space come alive!
